UPDATE: Russia’s Onexim sells 20% in Uralkali to UralChem owner’s cos

MOSCOW, Jul 8 (PRIME) -- Russia’s Onexim Group of businessman Mikhail Prokhorov has sold its 20% stake in fertilizer producer Uralkali to institutions affiliated with fertilizer producer UralChem’s core owner Dmitry Mazepin, a representative of Onexim told PRIME on Friday.
No other details of the deal were disclosed.
“Onexim Group sold 20% in Uralkali to instructions close to UralChem’s owner,” the representative said.
Before the deal, UralChem owned 19.99% in Uralkali.
A spokesperson for the Federal Antimonopoly Service told PRIME the service had not received a request for permission from the deal’s participants. “A corresponding request has not been submitted to the service,” the representative said.
